Our Approach to Privacy

We use browser localStorage to save draft invoices between sessions so that you can return to an invoice without losing your work. This storage is entirely local — it exists only on your device and is never transmitted to us or to any third party. You can clear it at any time using your browser's settings or by clicking the Reset button in the tool.

When you upload a business logo or signature image, those files are converted to base64 data URLs within your browser. They are embedded directly into your PDF when you download it, and they are never uploaded to any server.

How Browser-Based Invoice Generation Works

Our invoice generator is a client-side web application. This means that all of the logic — calculating totals, updating the live preview, generating the PDF — runs within your own browser on your own device. There is no server involved in processing your invoice data.

When you click "Download PDF", your browser uses the jsPDF and html2canvas libraries to capture the invoice preview and convert it to a PDF file, which is then saved directly to your device. This process never involves any network request to an external server.

The only time our invoice generator contacts an external server is to load the page assets (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts, and icons) when you first visit. After that, everything runs offline within your browser.
